Primera LX500 Ink Cartridge

The Primera LX500 and Primera LX500c (with cutter) both use a single Primera 53374 ink cartridge. This Primera LX500 ink cartridge contains three colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow) of ink all in one cartridge. There is no black Primera LX500 ink cartridge; rather, the printer makes its own black ink as needed by mixing cyan, magenta, and yellow ink.

With the Primera LX500 using a tri-color Primera LX500 ink cartridge, ink management is simplified compared to printers that use individual ink cartridges. We do recommend keeping a spare Primera LX500 ink cartridge on hand so that when the printer runs low on ink, you can quickly replace the ink cartridge and get back to printing your labels right away. After replacing the ink cartridge, come back to Optimedia Labs and order another Primera LX500 ink cartridge so that you’re ready for the next time.
